Dance
Liturgical, African, jazz and other dance forms utilizing the Graham and Dunham techniques. There are classes for beginners, intermediate/advanced and an audition-entry only dance ensemble ---Rainey Dance Ensemble (RDE).
Capoeira
Is a rhythmic martial art form that originated in Angola and Brazil. Drumming, gymnastic movements and break-dancing styles blend to create excitement and inspire discipline in performers.
Drama
Develops acting abilities through games, improvisation and performances. Public speaking, dramatic expression and self-confidence are some of the advantages of this class.
Instrumental Music
Private instruction in clarinet, flute, cello, harp, violin, drums, piano, trumpet, saxophone and other instruments are available. Music understanding/theory classes is a prerequisite.
Music Understanding/Theory
Is a prerequisite for instrumental music lessons. Students learn how to read and play music through rhythms and sounds.

Rainey Vocal Ensemble
While learning to appreciate the music of many cultures, students enjoy singing as they develop their skills as vocal performers.
Sewing
Teaches the basics of sewing and making simple repairs by hand and machine. Students may advance to use patterns and develop their own creative designs.
Kindermusic & Kinderdance
Is a special teaching method for children, ages 3-5. Provides age appropriate music and dance instruction and activities for the younger child.
Visual Art
Teaches use of design, color and multi-media materials to create unique and wonderful works.
Multi-Arts Performance Program
MAPP brings together drama, music and dance and culminates with public performances for students and the general public. The class is by audition only.
