CineMusic

Students: 3rd – 8th Grades

CineMusic is a mastery-based instrumental and vocal music program that engages students in the study and performance of film scores, cinematic composition and instrumentation, and digital sound production. Students are introduced to general music concepts and principles, key roles and artists involved in film music-making, and the skills and processes used in creating music for cinematic works, animated movies, and video games. Students are also introduced to a variety of instruments, immersed in the musical compositions of some of history’s most memorable film scores, and collaborate with classmates and teachers to compose, perform, and record original score elements of their own!

CineMusic is designed for students with an interest in learning and creating music, working together with a team, and engaging their musical and visual imagination! Prior musical training (i.e. playing an instrument, singing, etc.) is a plus, but is not required.

Art in Motion Dance

Students: 4th – 8th Grades

Art in Motion provides passionate, curious, and collaborative young dancers in Greater Cleveland with pre-professional dance education and the necessary tools to succeed artistically, professionally, and personally.

Art in Motion uplifts the value of dance, inspiring participants to view dance as an equal career and educational opportunity, while motivating dancers to learn and present their best selves.

INTERGALACTIC ARTS

Students: 3rd – 8th Grades

Intergalactic ART offers Visual Arts classes that nurture creativity and innovation by providing age-adaptable art projects and integrated art forms for youth in 3rd to 8th grades.

Students engage in hands-on experiences in a fusion of visual art in 2D, 3D and digital art media, including Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Comic Character Design, and Digital Art (Graphic Design, Vinyl Cutting and Game Design). Students also learn to integrate their art experiences with diverse academic subjects and cultures, enabling them to hone self-expression, communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills through a variety of artistic approaches and sustained effort.

SCREENS Film Acting & Production

Students: 3rd – 8th Grades

SCREENS is an innovative film acting and production art program, designed to inspire, cultivate, and catapult young performing artists into creative leadership of 21st century culture and beyond! The program engages students in the arts of screen acting, vocal performance, modeling, and cinematic storytelling through photography and videography, cultivating skills they can employ to harness the power of modern screens — movie theater, cell phone, tablet, and television screens — to positively impact their culture and generation!

This immersive learning experience is wide-ranging, educational, relevant and fun, focusing on the skillful mastery of the modern artistic canvas: the screen. And, in addition to honing artistic skills, students also develop confidence, cultural consciousness, positive self-image, and a sense of their social responsibility as creative artists and influencers!
